2022 Biennial Retreat Call for Proposals

The NCLA Youth Services Section Executive Board is excited to announce its call for poster proposals. The 2022 retreat is "Renew, Refresh, Restart." Get ready for a fresh start as we navigate library programming through the Covid-19 pandemic. The 2022 YSS retreat will feature topics covering intellectual freedom, grant writing, DEI, goal setting, programming, breakouts, and many more! We are excited to get together with librarians and paraprofessionals working in youth services in our state, region, and other library systems, to network, learn and develop exciting ways to support and provide excellent programs while serving our youth population.

We request that poster proposals relate and engage with the 2022 theme.

And as you know, we can't have all work and no play! If you have a hidden talent that you would like to lead for YSS attendees for our social & networking event, send us your proposal!

YSS will happily cover the cost of supplies. Plus, as a thank you, we will cover the cost of your registration for the retreat.

This activity may be leading an art project, a team-building activity, or another great idea!

After the selection process, the YSS Board will notify proposal applicants. Please submit your proposal submissions below no later than August 5, 2022.
