What: A TNT Webinar on Social Media Creation and Management for Libraries

Why: Last fall, Katie began managing UNCG Libraries’ social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Blogger.  In this webinar, she will share her experience with social media content creation and management. She will give tips and tricks for best practices for social media, highlighting the benefits that a solid social media presence can bring to academic libraries.

Many thanks to the State Library of North Carolina for asking us to participate in bringing Jason Griffey to NC back in March. If you attended, you were treated to an innovative, engaging look at mobile technologies as well as a look forward at the technologies that will be a part of our future. In the new year, we will start a series of webinars presented by YOU! This series is open to any member of NMRT OR TNT – you do not have to be a member of both organizations to submit a proposal.

Never presented online before? No worries! We’re kicking off the series on January 15 at noon with a webinar on “Best Practices for Presenting Online,” led by Beth Filar Williams, Coordinator of Library Services for Distance Learning at UNCG. Then, for the months of February, March, April, and May, we’ll enjoy webinars presented by you, the members of NMRT and TNT. This webinar is open to everyone.
