Lunch: We will probably patronize the Frontier’s “RTP Food Truck Rodeo” which takes place most Friday. Plan B if needed will be a catered lunch.

Agenda:

9:30-10:00: Socializing over morning snacks
10:00-10:30: Introductions; what’s new with your work or at your library
10:30-11:30: Social entrepreneurship, part 1 (short segments featuring different speakers or discussion leaders, see below)
11:30-12:45: Lunch
12:45-2:00: Social entrepreneurship, part 2 (remaining short segments)
2:00-3:00: BLINC planning discussions: possible collaboration with school media coordinators; NCLA 2019 additional program proposals and final decisions on our socials; topics for summer workshop at App State (consider suggestions from recent feedback request)

--What social entrepreneurship is and examples of it
--Researching and benchmarking nonprofits, ex. IRS 990 forms
--Outreach to nonprofits and social entrepreneurs
--Research instruction/training
--Role of school libraries
--Finding and mapping community indicators/social science data
