NCLA-RASS Webinar: Lessons in Human-Centered Design

Join us for the first offering in our webinar series, Lessons in Human-Centered Design for Libraries! The webinar features Georgia Coleman, the Chief Customer Officer for the Richland Library system (Columbia, SC).

 

A leader in the use of human-centered design in public libraries, Georgia Coleman is a champion for library services that enhance community connectedness and quality of life. Georgia earned her Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of South Carolina in 2007, and she has worked at the award-winning Richland Library (Columbia, SC) in a variety of positions including Community Outreach Manager and Director of Library Experience, Main. She currently serves as the library’s first Chief Customer Officer and is responsible for public service staff and customer experience throughout the Richland Library system. Georgia was named an American Library Association Emerging Leader in 2008 and received Richland Library’s highest honor, the Helen Ann Rawlinson Leadership Award, in 2016.
