Collection Management Committee
The Charge of the North Carolina Library Association, Public Library Section, Collection Management Committee is twofold:
• To identify and explore trends in collection management and their impact on public libraries,
• To share and disseminate information on these trends through workshops and/or other appropriate venues.
Topics to be addressed by the Committee include, but are not limited to, collection management, ILS technology, cataloging and classification, processing, acquisitions, formats, vendor relations and outsourcing, and statistics.
