Welcome to the North Carolina Library Association (NCLA)!  Our purpose is to promote libraries, library and information services, librarianship, intellectual freedom and literacy.

Here are some things we are doing:

Do you feel like you're missing messages from the NCLA listserv?  If so, be sure to check your spam folders! If messages from the listserv are ending up in your spam folder, be sure to mark it as NOT spam so you can get messages in the future. If your library or institution seems to be systematically blocking the messages, forward a message to your IT team and ask them to put the listserv on their safe list!

 

Library School Information Fair (WCPL)

On Thursday, August 11th from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., the Wake County Public Library System (WCPL) will host our 3rd Library School Information Session. This year for the first time, we would like to extend the invitation for this event to those outside of WCPL, and would love to see those with an interest in a career in libraries there!
