Amanda Glenn-Bradley

Amanda is the User Engagement Librarian at D. Hiden Ramsey Library at UNC Asheville and coordinates the Creativity, Art, Fabrication, and Technology (CrAFT) Studio housed on the library’s lower level. In NCLA, Amanda serves as the Vice-Chair/Chair Elect of NRMT and as Director of the Technology and Trends (TNT) roundtable. She is a proud alumna of Mississippi State University (B.S. Horticulture - Floral Management), UNC Asheville (B.A. History), and UNC Greensboro (M.L.I.S.) When not being the resident extroverted librarian, Amanda enjoys watching the antics of her two rescue cats and two longhaired miniature dachshunds, devouring pop culture in preparation for (one day) getting on Jeopardy, and enjoying the great outdoors in the heart of Appalachia on her orange Electra bicycle. ​

Rachel Sanders-Secretary/Treasurer

Rachel Sanders is currently the First Year Instruction and Social Sciences Librarian at UNCG in Greensboro, NC. Her professional interests include teaching, information literacy instruction, and researching library anxiety. Her personal hobbies are reading, shopping, and playing with her three dogs.

Jason Seymour

Jason Seymour works at Piedmont International University in Winston-Salem as the Library Director and undergraduate New Testament Greek Professor. His chief professional interests are languages, technology, teaching, and management though, as one who wears many hats at his library, he also has an interest in just about any library-related topic. On a personal level, his joys are reading, table games, movies, and family time with his wife, two boys, and Chinese exchange student 'daughter'.

Michelle Mitchell

Michelle is the Education Librarian for C. G. O’Kelly Library at Winston-Salem State University. She received her B.A. in English from Le Moyne College in 2015 and her MSLIS degree from Simmons College in 2017. After moving from Boston to North Carolina for her first full-time position, Michelle is excited to be involved with NCLA and serve on the NMRT Executive Board. She looks forward to collaborating with the ALA-NMRT to implement ideas and opportunities for NCLA’s new members.

Melanie MorganMelanie Morgan is the Director of the Madison County Public Libraries located in Western North Carolina.  She holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida, as well as her teaching credentials.  In her free time, she loves to hike and explore the beautiful mountains of WNC with her family and two dogs.

Vicki Siler

Vicki Siler is the Emerging Technologies Librarian in the Carol Grotnes Belk Library at Elon University.  She holds a Master’s Degree in Library Science from North Carolina Central University. Professional interests include investigating new technology and handling the purchase, implementation, training, and assessment of technologies to enhance library resources and services, and is the liaison librarian to political science and the international-focused academic departments and programs.

Portrait of Lara Luck, NMRT Nominating Committee ChairLara Luck is the Library Supervisor of the Rural Hall Branch Library in the Forsyth County Public Library system.  She has been with FCPL for over 15 years, serving as a library assistant, youth services librarian, and department manager.  She has been a member of NCLA for 11 years and has served on the Youth Services Section board as Chair from 2007-2009.   Lara is looking forward to serving as the Nominating Committee chair for the NMRT in the coming biennium.
